Red light therapy, also called low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation, is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate healing and reduce pain and inflammation in the body.

When we apply this light to your skin, it penetrates deep into your tissues and stimulates your cells—particularly the mitochondria, which are like the "powerhouses" of your cells. This boosts energy production (ATP), which helps your body repair tissue, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation.

Patients often use red light therapy to support recovery from joint pain, muscle strains, arthritis, or even post-surgical healing. It's also helpful for reducing stiffness and speeding up healing without drugs or surgery.

The treatment is painless, takes only a few minutes per session, and there’s no downtime—you can return to your normal activities right after. Many patients find it relaxing, and it pairs well with chiropractic care because it supports your body’s natural healing processes.
